Sprint.com Website Review & Ratings + Sprint.com Coupons

Sprint.com is America’s favourite 4G network (a network that’s 10 times faster than 3G) and a provider of new and innovative cell phones. It also offers some of the best unlimited anytime price call plans available on the market. Having a full range of cell phones, from a basic pay-as-you-go to some of the most advanced Smartphone’s on the market; Sprint has something to offer everyone. With extensive network coverage that is extremely reliable, Sprint won’t let you or your business down and with technology that’s at the very top of the cell phone market, you’ll be the fastest data downloader in the west. Sprint has served nearly 50 million customers to date and is widely recognised for its creative developing, engineering and innovative deploying of technologies. Sprint is also one of America’s greenest companies, ranking number 6 in Newsweek’s 2010 Green Rankings, the highest of any telecommunications company. That makes it not only lean in terms of great value for money but exceptionally green as well!

Sprint.com: What makes it different?

Many additional benefits are offered by Sprint.com to its customers. For example: using GPS technology Sprint Family locator can let most parents breathe a sigh of relief, letting them know exactly where their children are at any given time. Interactive satellite maps will even let you know the street address of the family member you are trying to find. More traditional benefits include the option of Sprint Music, Sprint Radio and even Sprint TV, which offers a wide range of programmes from news to movies.

Customer service at Sprint is provided via live web-chat, toll-free telephone and email. There is also an easy call option direct from your cell phone, if purchased through Sprint.

Sprint has CDMA coverage in every single state in America, but it should be noted that this coverage is limited in Alaska to analog roaming. In respect to international coverage, CDMA roaming is available in 26 countries and Nextel roaming is available in an additional 10.

Sprint is also able to offer HTC EVO 3D – America’s first 3D phone. If you want to be one of the first to watch and shoot video in 3D, this is the website for you! They’ll even give you tips (mostly sarcastic) on how to act in and shoot with 3D video. You’ll be amazed at the technology on offer here, with features like two 5 megapixel cameras, live video sharing, HDMI-out via USAB, HD video playback with 1080p screen resolution. Then there’s a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4GB of internal memory and 1GB of RAM. In additional to all of that you’ll find Android apps, Gmail, Google Earth and Maps, Google Talk, YouTube and much more. There are some truly fantastic products on offer at Sprint and the call packages are exceptionally good value for money.

Sprint.com vs. primary competitors (sites similar to Sprint.com)

Verizon Wireless is a competitor of Sprint.com and offers great national coverage for 3G and CDMA networks and a large selection of cell phone plans. They offer good customer service via telephone contact or email and are available for help 24/7. The biggest downside to using the Verizon Wireless service when compared to Sprint, is that Sprint offer free mobile to mobile calls over any network, which could save you a great deal of money. Sprint also start their nightly and weekend rates at 7pm, rather than Verizon’s 9pm, which all adds up when you receive your cell phone bill each month. The HTC EVO 3D is unfortunately not available on Verizon’s network at the moment, which is a shame as it one of the most promising Smartphone’s to date. Trying to find a 4G device on Verizon isn’t the easiest, you’ll really have to search through their database and when you do find one, you’ll find your eyes watering at the price for a two year contract. Sprint offer a better all inclusive call package to boot.

AT&T is another rival of Sprint and they have good global coverage and an extensive 3G data network. Again, the biggest downside to using AT&T versus Sprint is the fact that Sprint allows free mobile to mobile calls on any network. This alone will save most people a great deal of money over the course of their cell phone contract. Sprint’s data network is also better than that offered by AT&T. In fact, with regards to 4G, you’ll be hard pressed to find a coverage map on AT&T’s website. They do not offer a 4G phone with 3D capabilities such as the HTC EVO which is offered by Sprint. When comparing customer service, they compare favourably with the companies mentioned above and offer contact telephone numbers and email support 24/7. Sprint’s offers better value for money with regards to cell phone plans especially with regards to data usage.

Sprint.com: Pricing & packages

Sprint.com offers a 4G 3D HTC EVO starting at $199 when taken with a 2 year contract.

Verizon offers a 4G Droid Charge by Samsung starting at $299 when taken with a 2 year contract.

AT&T offers a 4G Samsung Infuse starting at $199 when taken with a 2 year contract.

Without doubt the HTC EVO is the best offered with a higher processor speed, fantastic internal memory and 3D capabilities.

With regards to call plans, Sprint offer a virtually unbeatable unlimited call plan for $99.99 per month which includes roaming, domestic long distance calls, any mobile any network and unlimited messaging and data usage on their network.

Verizon’s unlimited call plan starts at $89.99 but it’s not very ‘unlimited.’ You’ll need add at least an extra $30.00 to surf the net comfortably, which is what you bought your Smartphone for in the first place!

AT&T offers unlimited call plans from $69.00 but again, no data usage is included. 4GB worth of data per month will cost you an extra $45.00, messaging will cost an extra $20.00, family locator an additional $10.00 and the list goes on. Without doubt when it comes to ‘unlimited’ Sprint offer exceptional value for money.

Sprint.com: Customer reviews & comments

This is what Sprint.com's customers and followers have been saying about them:

This cell phone provider made quite a splash with the introduction of their Simply Everything plan for $99.99 per month. Even now the competitors don’t offer plans that really compare to it. The price includes unlimited anytime voice calls, unlimited messaging, unlimited web access and even unlimited Sprint Direct Connect for phones that offer that feature. Direct Connect is this cell phone provider's brand name for Push-to-Talk, or walkie-talkie, connectivity. The web access feature even incorporates services like GPS and Sprint TV. Additional lines of service are available in the Simply Everything Family plan for an additional $89.99 per line up to a total of five lines.

Megamanjill at Reviews.cnet.com says:

I love Sprint. Let me explain. Sprint has free roaming. 100 percent free voice and web roaming. At home I can set my phone to roam on Alltel's network. When out of state at college I can roam on Verizon's network. So the way I look at it is that I get Sprint-Verizon-Alltel network access for one price.

Papiblogger.com says:

The EVO is the nation’s first 4G phone.  In layman’s terms this means that where currently available, this phone delivers Internet browsing speeds that are about 10X faster than those on 3G phones, including the new iPhone 4.  In my hometown of Miami, Sprint Nextel’s 4G network is slated for a December to early January 2011 roll out.

- The EVO has built-in Wifi capability for up to eight computers.  What this means is that I can literally use this phone as a Wifi hotspot for up to eight computers AT A TIME.  We made extensive use of this feature as we drove our Chevrolet Traverse across the country through 33 states.

The EVO 4G is an elite Smartphone that in most every facet of the game is equal to or better than most of its competitors.  If you’re in the market for a phone, visit a local Sprint store and take it for a spin.  You might be as surprised by this phone’s amazing zip and features as I was.

I have been a sprint customer for 7 years, former Verizon and cingular customer… phone selection is great, coverage where I live in northern NY is great, pricing/plans are the best out of the top 3, I have called customer service maybe once a year on average and they go out of their way to please you.. Why would I ask for more?

I have used Verizon, T-Mobile & Sprint. Sprint, in my opinion, is the best of the three. I keep coming back to them. Their plans are decently priced & the customer service is awesome! They’re always friendly and helpful. I do get a few dropped calls but no more than the other two providers and now they seem to be trying to catch up with all the latest phone trends and technology.

Verizon and T-Mobile’s customer service suck! T-mobile’s being the worst by far. Verizon’s plans are over-priced for what they offer & my reception wasn’t any better than Sprint but I ended up paying a lot more.

In Conclusion Sprint appears to offer the latest and fastest technology, with some of the greatest 4G coverage found in America. Their unlimited pricing plans are hard to beat and the additional extras that come with Sprint mobile phones, such as the family locator, are priceless. Sprint is a great all-round cell phone provider.
